Re: Nuclear Dawn (ND)
Is that RAM usage total, including the OS, or is that what the game alone is using?

Re: Nuclear Dawn (ND)
That's total with OS (Win Server 2k8 R2 on a 1GB VPS), but the actual process (ndsrv.exe *32) is showing exactly 322,164 K and not fluctuating (full server for over 48 hours now).
Running stable, smooth in game, and everyone has been really enjoying themselves (played a bit last night).
So here we go
<20 on CPU usage in taskmgr (map loads it jumps though, but every source server does)
322,164 K RAM usage in task manager (so roughtly around 321-323 MB of RAM)
No priority changes
So there you go. Stable, fun, working great, full 32 players that exact usage over 48 hours.
Also, this game will use a little more network than some other source engine titles due to it's ranking and whatnot submission stuff.

Re: Nuclear Dawn (ND)
...any news on this? The game is getting a ton of sales it's been in the top 20 sales on steam since it's launch date (yesterday), I want to be able to provide this on my reseller account...
Re: Nuclear Dawn (ND)
I have still not had time to investigate it, I'm sorry. The release of the BF3 beta was at the same time and I've been spending most of my time on that as well as the normal emergencies and hardware rollouts.

Re: Nuclear Dawn (ND)
Understood, thanks for the update, I do know I got Michiel Beenen (Operations Director at InterWave Studios) to get a hold of you though to try and get an "official partnership" going on for the title. Would be great to see you guys in the list, I still consider NFO the best provider of game server services I've ever dealt with and I have definitely shopped around looking for all kinds of things, I will always come back to you guys.

There's supposedly going to be a free weekend sometime in November... I hope you guys get it added by the time that rolls around.

Re: Nuclear Dawn (ND)
We went ahead and ordered a server through another provider for the time being. Hopefully one day NFO will support this.
Re: Nuclear Dawn (ND)
At some point I would like to. We still have our hands more than full with existing supported games right now, though.
An unmanaged VDS is a great way to go for these more unusual games.
