cannot copy paste on or onto my vh

hi,
for the past 3 years i have been moving files on and to my host with no problem.....last night after i moved some files over, i was unable to copy or paste anything either on the host or to the host....in fact i had to close remote desktop to be able to copy and paste on my machine.....can someone tell me a fix for this?

What are you using to transfer the files and do you see any type of error when you try to do so?

just using remote desktop.....there isnt any error.....just a grey spot where the paste should be.....the copy works fine

You need clipboard enabled in RDP options.

it is enabled....was the only thing i knew how to check

It has happened to me several times here and with other hosts.
It's rather annoying that one day it works and the next it won't.
Can't recall if I ever come up with a fix.

Try using Cntrl+C and Cntrl+V and it should work.
Not sure why right clicking is intermittent.

had already tried that too.......ive tried several fixes i found on some web pages and none worked either

Local resources, add your drive. Can see your local drive through the session under Computer.

ya i can see the c drive fine and can access any file on there, i just cannot paste anything......i have the copy option but not the paste
