Post by Server renter »

We have a UT 2004 server that runs onslaught. We are getting complaint from a few usuers that they are getting 'stuck' and cant move in the game. Anyone else having that problem?

Did you change the Tickrate?

That normally happens when you mess with the default settings...

[IpDrv.TcpNetDriver]
AllowDownloads=True
ConnectionTimeout=20.0
InitialConnectTimeout=200.0
AckTimeout=1.0
KeepAliveTime=0.2
MaxClientRate=15000
MaxInternetClientRate=10000 <--- Leave at default or lower :)
SimLatency=0
RelevantTimeout=5.0
SpawnPrioritySeconds=1.0
ServerTravelPause=4.0
NetServerMaxTickRate=20 <---- Leave at default
LanServerMaxTickRate=35
DownloadManagers=IpDrv.HTTPDownload
DownloadManagers=Engine.ChannelDownload
AllowPlayerPortUnreach=False
LogPortUnreach=False
MaxConnPerIPPerMinute=5
LogMaxConnPerIPPerMin=False

A couple of other people were having this problem actually and we're heavily investigating it right now. At this point we think it may have something to do with combining UT2k4 with other types of servers on one machine. We're still looking into it and once we reach a conclusion we'll act on it.
