We've updated our dedicated machine and VDS configurations to have double the bandwidth that they did a month ago!

This is automatically provided for new orders. If you have an existing VDS, please refinance through our VPS/VDS order page by re-selecting what you have now and then using the "This is a change to an existing server" option at the bottom. If you have an existing dedicated server, please contact us to have your allotment increased.

We expect for this to be a permanent adjustment to our offerings, yes (not just a sale). If we do have to change it back later, current customers would be grandfathered in for as long as they keep the same server in the same configuration, of course :)

Now in order for me to do so for the server I have, I would have to put the order in etc. All fine, but what if I am already in the area I wish to be, but it showcases sold out in the options? NY to be specific.

If you submit the change order and keep everything the same, it should go through right now, regardless of your location choice.

On the VDS page, I see the following

Two full, dedicated HT CPU cores (Nehalem or better)
2048 MB of RAM
200 GB of hard drive space
2000 GB of InterNAP bandwidth transfer

I currently already have the 2000GB. Is this the upgrade? :)

That is correct. That reflects the upgraded bandwidth.
