BF4 Game Server FTP Access
I am connected to the server via FTP and all I see is SVLOGS and SVSS. SVLOGS has a few log files in there and SVSS is empty. Is this how it should be? I was looking for the startup config and the server config files so i can edit them manually if I wanted. I already edited the server info through the easy setup tab. Just wanted to see the actual cfg files. Thanks.

Yes, that's the way that FTP should be set up. To manually edit files apart from PB things, please use the "File manager" page. DICE requires it to be this way because we are not allowed to give full access to the "Admin" folder.
Re: BF4 Game Server FTP Access
Is there a way to maybe create an "Admin" directory that we DO have access to, and then in the startup file do some kind of "include" directive to include the files that are in our own "Admin" directory?
Re: BF4 Game Server FTP Access
HoLyCoW, not readily, no. The File manager page works well, though.
Re: BF4 Game Server FTP Access
The annoying part is that when I want to make a change, say to Startup.txt, and save it, but continue editing it, I cannot do that easily. I have to Save it, then choose it again from the drop down, then click edit, then go back into it.
It would be nice if there were a "save and continue editing" button.

I can look into that. When I'm editing, though, I hit save and then my left-side mouse button, which is "back" and instantly brings me to what I was working on again.

Okay, I'll try that next time.Edge100x wrote:I can look into that. When I'm editing, though, I hit save and then my left-side mouse button, which is "back" and instantly brings me to what I was working on again.
