Re: Different games, running on the same VM

On the server side, rather than going through and making sure proper filters are set, where it can be easy to overlook something, I recommend testing with all server side firewalls disabled temporarily. If you do that, and the Minecraft server is binding to the correct IP and port in the logs, and t...

Re: Different games, running on the same VM

Which OS are you running? Are you able to test connecting to the Minecraft server locally? Also, this may sound obvious, but have you checked to make sure no firewalls are blocking it somehow?

Re: Different games, running on the same VM

You can often run multipole game servers on the same IP as long as the ports are not conflicting. From the sounds of it, The Minecraft server is having its own, separate problem. If you think it may be conflicting with the other game server, a quick way to test is to shut the other server down tempo...

Re: Setting Up Repository on Dedicated Server

The IPs for our unmanaged machines and unmanaged VDS servers are public and not hidden behind a NAT like they would be in a home network. As such, port forwarding doesn't apply to the situation.

Re: Are you still hosting BF3 servers

Yes, we are still hosting BF3 servers.

If you have never had services from us before, you would qualify for the 2 day free trial. The system will tell you when ordering if you qualify for the trial or not.

Re: "Error: The recipient you specified cannot currently accept donations through our system."

That message is indeed account specific and it is best to contact us to take a look. However, it is often caused by the recipient not having a payment source on their account, which is needed to activate a subscription and use donation funds.

Re: .Net blazor app on existing web hosting plan?

With that much configuration needed, a VDS does seem to be needed to be able to configure what you need, both in terms of access and possibly due to some restrictions.

Re: .Net blazor app on existing web hosting plan?

You mentioned that it runs, so I'm not sure what problem you are running into exactly. What specifically is going wrong? Are there any error messages involved?

Re: considering webhosting but have a question

If PHP 8 is a hard requirement, then it would not work. We are still running on PHP 7 because a large amount of our customers still depend on it. We will eventually move up to PHP 8, but I do not have an ETA for that currently.

Re: latency variation on CS:GO LA and CHI servers

That is showing the same problem as before, except the latency increase is only 30ms instead of 40ms. It does seem to be some sort of routing/peering issue with your ISP, but it looks like it is starting to improve at least.

Re: latency variation on CS:GO LA and CHI servers

In each of those, there is an increase of about 40ms between uninet.net.mx and twelve99.net, but everything looks normal otherwise. Do you have any results from before problems started, for comparison?

Re: vps problem

I'm not familiar with the .rs version of that site. Strange that the listing wouldn't be linked. Nothing server side would prevent if from working on only one of those sites. If it works with one site, it should work with any other tracking site. Is there a particular error you are seeing? Have you ...

What sort of customizations do you have in mind? It can make a difference on where to go and what to do.
