Amx Plugins & 1.6

Post by buffy »

A few of my plugins don't work now.

John said this would happen, and that each plugin would have to be dealt with, case by case.

1) Are they fixable? Or just a lost cause, due to incompatibility with 1.6

2) Have you guys heard of any problems with specific plugins? So far, my admins complain that 4 aren't working right or working at all

*amx_ban -- this plugin works sometimes. i ban ppl from rcon, so mine always work (to my knowledge) but my admins tell me the bans aren't registering.

These 3 don't work at all

*amx_blank, amx_unblank
*amx_t, amx_ct
*specmenu

Any help, ideas? Thanks

I suggest you tell your admins to use the banmenu in "AMX96"j such as.....

amx_banmenu..

This will ban them on the spot, but if that still doesn't work use the.........

amx_kickmenu to finnally finish off those annoying players.

Well make sure u install plug-ins that say "1.6 compatible" I've gotten plug-ins that worked fine on 1.5 that don't work for 1.6. Just visit the amxmod.net forums and under whatever plug-in(s) your having problems with...Leave a post. And more than likely you'll get a response. All the best plug-ins are in the forum section under the "Released Plug-ins" forum post.

Are you using the newest amx mod? 0.9.7 beta? If you are then you dont need any plugins because those commands are built in. Just type amdmodmenu in the console for a GUI and it lets you execute commands easier. If something is wrong I suggest you come into #NFo-Support on IRC via gamesnet so we can look at it for you.

:?

Make a stop into #NFo-Support so someone can take a look. Those plugins should work fine.

You can see if there's an updated plugins for 1.6 or try compiling with the latest AMXMOD and includes.
