BF3 Servers success stories!

Post by IcEWoLF »

Ok, after getting all my servers (most are from NFo)
We finally found the right settings and almost all of our servers are full.

Thanks NFo for delivering an awesome admin panel and great quality VDS servers!

@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!

@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

I am surprised how well our server is doing!
The CPU usage is under 30% when all servers are full including our cs:s servers.

Have you had any BF3 server crashes?
Asymmetrical warfare is part of the modern battlefield; deal with it.

Hardcore servers is the key for BF3.
Make respawn time quick, people don't want to wait too long to get into the action.

I have had some crashes yesterday, so far today it's been great.

This was posted by John, and I can confirm it fixed the issue for all of my 5 servers (even non NFo).

Here is the screenshot of my settings.

Nice!

I just have a 64 slot CQ server hosted by NFo, it's been a bit dead in the earlier bits of the day, but since about 3pm PST, it's been booming. 55/64 right now, hopefully it'll remain like this for at least a little while!

Had a couple crashes though today, which is frustrating cause than it takes about an hour to get it full again, which is tiresome at times considering its launch day and I just want to play Bf3! lol.

Ditto we have been full for 24 hours! Very happy for the 1st day. Seen a little bit of lag here and there. The server was around 20% cpu usuage when I checked so it is EA side I would guess. I did find out by accident that !kick crashes the server. Wont do that again.

Something is truly messed up with my server. No matter how much of my clan helps populate it, it just doesn't get started. The most we got it up to tonight was 34 players and THEN it friggen crashes all of its clients!

BTW, this is a 64 player Conquest server that I'm talking about here. I had all the same setting that the OP is showing here and the server still fails! Do I need to rent a VDS as well in order for my server to work how it's supposed to?

I suggest running HC.
They are more popular.

I was wanting to run a Classic Battlefield mode but not HC.

I just saw a post from kraze... http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... 104#p28104

I have 3 lines in my description. I'll change that to 2 and see if it helps my server's crashing. I'll report back when the results are in.

Our 32 player rush server took off right away, but we're struggling with our 64 player conquest.
