InterNAP has rolled out a newer version of their internal routing optimization software to all of their locations. With this new software, their systems are now able to effectively optimize about 90% of clients, whereas they could only optimize about 50% before.
This means that there should be fewer routing problems for users connecting to our servers, and lower pings for everyone.
If you do experience a routing problem, please email us. There will still be corner cases when a peering point is overloaded or the optimization can't tell which is the fastest route to you.
