Our New York City location is now operational.

For now, we can only accept accelerated Steam-based servers at this location. We will be expanding to allowing non-accelerated servers very soon.

transferring over as soon as possible. I was just wondering if there would be much downtime switching servers from different areas. Such as Atlanta to NYC.

once the server is being transferred, there would be less than 30 min downtime for sure, generally give about 15 minutes

I'm in the section Of brooklyn tht's So close to Manhattan that i could hit a baseball to it... If i was some sort of freakish superman with magical gravity altering powers. But it's very nice to have full server with 15-19 ping

Lowest ping I've had so far was 3.... but i say eight cause that's more constant then that 7 second bliss of 3 latency,... it's sad when you feel like hte matrix when they had 118 ping ang your just slicing and dicing and they cna't touch you

we allow non-accelerated HL based servers now, just not servers like BF1942 or CoD, etc.

non-accelerated policy changed a while back on the front page

Note that due to capacity constraints, the New York City sale covers new Steam (Half-life-based) servers only. Servers transferred from other locations will not qualify for the new pricing, and other types of servers will not be initially offered in New York City.
