Our little expansion

Just a word here to let you know about our ongoing purchases of new machines.

We are constantly striving to keep on top of the demand for our rentals and this has required us to add four new dual-CPU machines. One was delivered last week, two today and one more comes in next week. Overall there are three dual Xeon 2.4 machines with 1.5gb of RAM each and one dual MP 2400+ with 1.5gb of RAM.

The two types of machines we purchased reflect our continuing assessment of the differences between offerings from Intel and AMD. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, and there never seems to be a clear winner.

Our recent purchases total 18.4ghz of speed and 6gb of RAM overall. Their addition to our arsenal will give us more breathing room for new servers and will allow us to experiment with new games such as bf1942 and MoHAA. So stay tuned!
