Latest patch

I just wanted to put a quick note in the news for any new renters or those who can't get our emails.

The latest CS patch, which came out on June 14th, has two main differences over the last version on the server:

* Without it, the round timer can disappear.
* With it, there can be constant lag and/or lag spikes.

These items are unfortunately outside our control; all we can offer our renters is a choice of whether to run the latest patch or not.

If you haven't already updated to the latest patch by using the "Generic server repair" option in the Control panel, we recommend against doing it, unless the round timer is very important to you.

If you have already updated, and want to roll back to the last version, we can do that for you (just email us).

Update: For some time we had made the old version the default version in use on our servers. Now we've switched back to the new version as the default, so renters can once again use the repair option in the control panel to update.
