Any ETA for Windows Server 2016 VDSs? I am looking to upgrade from my 2008 server and I would prefer to start with the current Windows Server edition rather than, the now quite old, 2012.

Re: Windows Server 2016
We currently support Windows Server 2016 on dedicated machines. For VDSes, we support up to Windows Server 2012 R2 (which is very similar to 2016, from a server standpoint). We do not generally recommend using Windows Server 2012 non-R2.
We do not have a current ETA on Windows Server 2016 support for VDSes. Supporting Windows Server 2016 will require a price hike due to adjusted fees from Microsoft.

Re: Windows Server 2016
With Windows Server 2019 just around the corner, is there any ETA for support of Windows Server 2016 on a VDS?

Re: Windows Server 2016
Due to the cost of running it, I still don't anticipate it making sense for some time.
Running a single Windows Server 2016+ instance on a machine forces the entire machine to be upgraded to much higher Windows license pricing.
