Reflex is in early access and available on Steam. Think Quake / CPM if you have no idea - fast paced arena gameplay. It also has a map editor that you can drop in and out of on the fly and edit cooperatively.
Has anyone else played it yet? Not exactly overflowing with activity yet, but it's pretty playable and fun. It is still _early_ in development, though. Also there's a distinct lack of servers close to me, and not really many avenues to help remedy it...
The trailer more or less sums it up.

Re: Reflex FPS
Looks like a really cool game, will be keeping my eye on it.
What region are you from?

US, east coast. The netcode is a bit wonky still and latency really matters. Hosts are scarce at the moment, so support would be nice.
But yeah, if you liked Quake / UT then you will probably enjoy this - but it is no joke still very early development.

Ok, so it looks pretty cool, and has everything you could ask for. Fast paced game, dedicated servers, and map making tools. Sweet.
Bought a 4 pack and am installing a server on our East coast USA box now.
Will monitor the server to see how it runs.

Re: Reflex FPS
I read the server is very lightweight. For whatever it's worth, running on my own machine with me connected, it uses basically no meaningful amount of CPU time and like 20~ mb of memory.TacTicToe wrote:Ok, so it looks pretty cool, and has everything you could ask for.
