Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
The !scramble command can be used for this; it randomly chooses teams for the players. This won't work on an "official" preset BF4 server, though.

Do you have plans for a Chat Monitor to monitor vulgar language?
Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
I don't have current plans for it but it could be considered. Would you want it to respond with a kick?

I would probably want it to work with a Warning first, then Kick.
Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
It was suggested to me to post this feature request here in hopes that it can be added to your admin daemon.
I would like a 3rd option for the auto messages section.
This 3rd option would allow you to set up a list of messages and have them loop 1 by 1 on a specified interval.
I have tried every combination of the existing system you have for auto messages and it does not achieve this in anyway.
What i wish to accomplish (along with many server owners):
4 messages looping at a custom interval (ie: 5 minutes)
- 5 minutes = message 1
- 10 minutes = message 2
- 15 minutes = message 3
- 20 minutes = message 4
- 25 minutes = message 1
- 30 minutes = message 2
- 35 minutes = message 3
- 40 minutes = message 4
- etc...

Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
what are the chances of having the admin commands in the daemon be private to the admins only?
or should i just run the admin plugin with procon and use their admin command for private command entry?
or maybe there is already the ability and its not documented?

shadow2k1, all commands typed by non-admins are silently ignored, with the exception of any custom text triggers that you set up.
Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
im not quite sure what non-admins have to do with what im asking, but what i was referring to was if i (as admin) want to kick someone usingEdge100x wrote:shadow2k1, all commands typed by non-admins are silently ignored, with the exception of any custom text triggers that you set up.
!kick [name] [reason]
typing that in chat everyone can see it.
i would like to know if setting something up where i can type that in and NO ONE can see it but other admins...
Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
Hi guys love this auto scram but it scrambles players during Rush can this be removed ??
thx
thx
Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
In some previous games, you could use /kick instead of !kick, and the game would hide it. I don't think that BF4 supports this, though, and there's no other way to do it from in-game.shadow2k1 wrote:im not quite sure what non-admins have to do with what im asking, but what i was referring to was if i (as admin) want to kick someone using

Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
I know this thread is long in the tooth, but we have a BC2 server and just recently enabled the admin daemon. We toggled for the team scramble to run but I am noticing the notifier in the 'server control' tab, there is no 'admin daemon enabled: scrambling teams' notifier coming up. We have a few BF4 servers using the daemon and this does show up there, scrambling the teams.
Is the command for the scramble still enabled for BC2 use?
Thanks!

Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
It should work on BC2. Were they actually being scrambled, even though it wasn't giving a message?
Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
Thanks for the response. Watching in-game, it looks like it did scramble. Before I was watching from the control panel remotely.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
Re: BC2/BF3/MoH/MoHW admin daemon feedback
Well, after a bit more observation, it appears to keep squads together.
Is there a way to do a full scramble?

Hooligan, I'll have to look at it further, but it may be some time before I can get to it, as I'm being kept very busy right now by high-priority things =\.
