Do I sense a futuristic COD? I will say the trailer does look good. I find it funny that the trailer for their next game is out before PC has even gotten its first DLC pack...


Lets just hope when(if) they do dedicated servers it is not a sole provider again.

Rationally not possible. Sole U.S provider would be nice but again I am not sure I would enjoy the 5000 support request in one shift....

Totally lost interest in COD when Black Ops came out. Thought the graphics were low rate compared to many of todays games. Leaving GS with sole gameservers for it was the worst move every. Overloaded, laggy servers. Support tickets took 6-14 days if not more. Spread it out over several selected hosts to provide competition.

Only really liked the single player and coop in Black ops. Thought multiplayer sucked.

I know GS is not the best GSP out there, but stop spreading the b/s!
If they took 6-14 days to answer support tickets then I doubt that they would still be in business for such a long time.

I rented a Black Ops server, it ran fine for me, no complaints at all.
Their support tickets were all answered within 1-3 hours most of the times for me.

Now where near BS. When they first came out with Black Ops, there were all kinds of issues, and their support staff were so overloaded that it took 6-14 days to respond. They eventually hired more staff to deal with the overload. The same thing happened when BF3 was released. Hours to reply turned into days until they caught up with the extreme load of tickets. In the first weeks of the release of Black ops, many people were complaining about lagging and spikes. They eventually put out a couple updates which improved things afterwards.

In complete Honesty Blops wasn't bad, I actually enjoyed it. Except for that dam lag issue with the game that they never fixed.

One thing I give Treyarch with there COD's are the single player campaigns are really fun and zombies is amazing.

The last CoD that I loved was WaW - BLOPS was OK. Didn't buy MW2 or MW3 since no ranked servers.

I have decided to take a wait and see attitude. If they end up with ranked servers and it looks like fun I will consider it. But I probably won't have the answers to those questions until after the game is released.

Which is just fine, since BF3 is fun and they have a DLC plan that carries through the end of the year.

COD 5 was really great game, at first i preferred cod 4 but cod 5 slowly grew on me.

It was nice to have your own server (no global ranking BS) 48 players max, changed the settings how you wanted.

MW2 no dedicated server and 18 players and same crap with the others with a TON of restriction. In my opinion, I wish we could all boycott their junk (toward PC gamers) but that's not obviously gonna happen.
