I have noticed that I cannot see who is talking now, no box on the right with their name
sometimes I see it, sometimes not, sucks, gotta listen to their voice and see who the heck they are and try to remember

ya but when seige was like that you just put room_off 1 in console and it would stop

As for hollow sounding voices, have you tried updating your sound card drivers, disabling EAX, and/or sliding down the sound acceleration bar a notch already?

I increased the sound quality on server a notch "sv_voicequality 3".It seems to have fixed it.
