I have a question here... We've got an Operation Metro 1000 ticket server which no one plays on anymore. We went from GameTracker rank #2 to #270 within a month (Does nobody like Metro 1k tickets anymore?). For now, I'm really thinking that we need to save our money for the servers that are actually being used and drop this server.

My question is... Are we able to put in a ticket requesting that our Server GUID be saved for another time and another server (if it's even transferable)? This server has had 50,000+ players play on it and I don't want to lose being on however many people's Favorites/History. I'm thinking that I'm gonna want to open a 64 player server back up when some of this DLC is released.

TimSad, We have the same problem. Our server went from rank 47 to 1000+, with over 55k users logged in gametracker. No server settings had changed - so I had the same idea of resetting our GUID, but I'm afraid that we will never receive ANY traffic if I do that.

Our server would stay 64/64 for a week at a time (until dice dumped everyone). Now its almost impossible to get the server over 32 players.

What happened? Are others noticing this change in traffic as well?

We are noticeing more traffic on our three servers.

My servers all of a sudden have a really difficult time getting full with even 4-6 of us in game. Not sure what's up. The times that we do happen to get them full, there's either a player dump or server crash within 12 or less hours.

What's the trick nowadays, 0mni? It's hard to keep up on the ways of getting you servers populated. Do you think Battlelog has changed the way it displays servers again and gone to another unfair system? I'm wondering if getting a GUID change will help things even though it's at the cost of losing its place in people's Favorites/History...

As I said, we don't populate our servers anymore. But I do know that the server takes into account the rank of players in the server for quick match. The higher your rank, the harder it will be to populate. As always user a plugin to reduce player limit to trick it into thinking the server is fuller than it actually is, we also have changed settings on our servers to keep them going. I would recommend keeping your GUID and just change the settings until you get them to work best.

Curious... How are your servers in Canada according to your banners?
NFO doesn't provide Canadian servers.

Pain, DICE authorizes RSP changes to the country code to reflect the location of the player base. On the "Easy setup" page, we mention that we can change it.

Does anyone know if Quickmatch prefers a certain vars.roundStartPlayerCount & vars.roundRestartPlayerCount value? Nothing is mentioned in the R20 documentation about it but I'm thinking it's best to ask if anyone has any awareness on this...

We have filled up 64 conquest a couple of times with no problem since the patch. Battlog search sucks. Sometimes it will show our server every time you do a search. Other times it will show our server maybe 1 in 4 tries when you do a search for conquest or conquest assault servers. Those are the days we get little traffic. Just too many bf3 servers for the amount of people playing I guess.

Okay, time to give up! Finally taking down my BF3 servers... I don't think BF3 is a good gaming community game as it's not easy whatsoever to fill up a server and to keep it filled. The Blaze player dumps certainly don't help. NFO has certainly been a great RSP, though. :)
