If PB is the cause, it is really ruining this game for me... I hate not having complete control of my movements and I hate having discrepancies within events in the game. For example, my client being behind a corner when another persons client can clearly see me as if I hadn't made my way around that corner already and shooting me to death when they shouldn't have been able to. Also, I see a lot of players mildly jerking around. Even though it's mild, it really messes with one's aim.

I wish I could use my excellent FPS skills (I say that truthfully and humbly) to play well like I used to be able to in past games. If it really is PB causing this, I don't think it's worth it to have PB running for sacrificed gameplay quality.

TimSad, have you had us check out your personal routing? Rubber-banding isn't a common complaint and it can be caused by packet loss.

No, I haven't. I guess I'll put in a ticket for it soon here...

Well, I guess I mean rubber-bandy in the aspect that I see other players jerking around a bit and the after death drag-back effect.

It's been common on our server too.
Rubberbanding used to be only on the latest B2K maps, but seeing it on others now.
We also see where you are going ahead, freeze for 2 secs, and then your back 15 feet from where you thought you were.
A lot of times you end up in walls or objects and get stuck.
You can also watch others as they skip across in front of you.

Last night was my best night, but others were complaining more than usual.

My server still lags too. Yesterday it was lagging with only 3 players on it. Procon on or off makes no difference.

With so few players, it wouldn't be due to a resource limitation. You should have us look at your routing, MyOdessa.

I have not actually been hearing many complaints of performance problems outside of the few people in this thread. We run a lot of BF3 servers. I am interested to see any data on this.

Nice to see the nightly server dump is back.

Nothing like having the whole server empty out because some stupid computer looking thing on the top right corner.. Anyone know what the deal is with this thing?

We have been seeing it dump everyone on the server, and when you try to reconnect, it says the server is not there anymore. After several trys you can connect.

Been happening almost nightly.

Lag was better afterwards but still skippy.

Seems on our server the game was lagging and we saw 3-5 sec freezing for several minutes and then we all got dumped. Same thing a couple nights ago. Things are worse just before the dump.

That would have to be a Blaze/Battlelog issue. If you think that it might have been an attack on your server, please contact us, so that we can investigate in more depth.

We played on it today, and it's having that stuttering/freezing again.
Guessing we can expect it to dump everyone later today again.

Yup... Another dump

This time the server crashed.
Admin panel said it was down.
Tried to restart and battlelog says server doesn't exist.

The admin panel has a bug too.

Select server restart and then submit, the page changes as if you did it, but it doesn't restart. Have to do it twice to work. Seen this happen several times.
