I see Vanderburg made this post in the MC Knowledgebase.
However, there's also http://dev.bukkit.org/, which seems to be official as well, and has some different plugins.
Why two different repositories?

It looks like the one Vanderburg posted are approved plugins only.

The one I posted is at the same site, but there are server mods (plugins) and client mods. Client mods aren't relevant to the servers. So I saved you a step, because people might not make the leap from server mods to plugins.
