I currently am hosting a TF2 server on a VPS running a managed Windows based operating system, but would like to add a Minecraft server to the mix. Is there any way I can add a Minecraft server to my package as it is currently configured or change my plan to allow a Minecraft server to be set up? If I need to switch to an unmanaged package, I would be okay with doing that.

Hi,

Unfortunately MC servers are only supported on VDS machines running Linux, due to how Linux handles files.

Can my server be converted to a Linux-based one, then? I'd like to run a single TF2 server, plus Minecraft at about the same price I'm paying now if at all possible.

You can change your server in to a managed Linux if you would like. You should be able to do this via the server control tab in your CP.

If you'd like to switch your VDS to Linux without losing the IP or files for your existing TF2 server, please open a support request and ask for me, as I may be able to accomplish that.

You can also change to an unmanaged Windows server.

And you can run it manually by uploading and setting up the files, but the easier way is to install MyMcAdmin (http://www.mcmyadmin.com/) and use it to install minecraft and craftbukkit. You have to upload your own plugins.
