Not complaining. :)

Curious why your website, control panels and our server all go down at the same time.
Is it that your site goes down and kills everyone on a VDS server?

We have two "by the slot" servers - a 64 and a 16

At 13:04 PST the 64 slot crashed (procon logs)
At 13:05 PST the 16 slot crashed (procon logs)

We could not even access the NFO CP until 13:13 PST - simply could not connect

I would really like to know the reason behind this one....

Updated - NFO response to the ticket I filed

"There was a problem with our webserver until a moment ago. We apologize for the inconvenience"

A couple of days ago - similar problem, here was there response then:

"We have to restart our admin daemon for a second and it may have caused an issue with the map cycle. Usually a server restart corrects this."

Yea - remember the same thing happening last week or longer.
Was wondering the cause for everything to crap out at the same time.

Leaves us without support page, so emailing support is the only option left and takes a lot longer for a response last time.

Hi,

John will be able to explain this a little more in depth, but our main webserver is kind of like the brain for our operation. If it has an issues it can cause more issues. Which is why the admin daemon went down and needed to be restarted, server logs weren't showing correctly,website..etc.

This usually doesn't happen often but when it does we are right on top of it.

As why the server crashed, I am not sure. Could just be some bad timing..

Thought it weird because the ATi server was still up, but ours was down for about 10 mins.

Figures it was like you said. The Brain went dead.

The webserver going down doesn't bring down game servers, thankfully, and they'll just keep running. If the admin daemon is offline (as it would be with the webserver down), commands just won't work temporarily, the player limit would remain the same if the auto-player-limit engine is enabled, and the current map would be replayed if the automatic mapcycler is in use.

I'm still trying to pin down what has caused these webserver crashes. I will likely have to schedule a maintenance to upgrade MySQL and some other support utilities within the next couple of days.

Not calling you wrong, but our BF3 server coincidentally went off exactly when your site went down, and came back on exactly when it came back up.
Both times it happened.

Seems odd that it happens together.

It is possible that some game bug was triggered by the inability for your specific server to send events to us. I'm do not see a dip in the overall graph to suggest that this affected customers widely, thank goodness.

I will have to look at the logs for your server to get more specifics.

Our servers went down a couple times last night and remain empty. Bad timing?

mine went down and now they refuse to fill.... =( they have been full from day one... now they get NO quickmatch love. I think it being down from this NFO down time removed me from the quick join list.

globel / dapriest: There was no NFO downtime last night. Blaze did have some problems in the morning, and your servers likely are less popular because of the Battlelog browser changes.

Ours is the same. Everyone lost connection about 5:47am and being empty ever since.
And it appears the server crashed 2 more times after that as a new pb log was created on all 3 occasions restarting pb on server restart.

Server has been full for a long time, and been dead all day.
Sad sight.

I wonder if we will ever see an official ratio from Battlelog of players/servers. I'm starting to wonder how many servers are out there in comparison to amount of active gamers.

One of my servers has been full since 6am PST. It was dead and then 6am quickmatch started filling it up with random players.
