Any ETA for today? Tons of people have the game unlocked now and getting our server out there 1st is always good.

ty..I assume it will have all the relevant info with it? And we wil be notified? or do I need to keep checking back? just asking

Access will be given today, I am not sure when today but access will be today. The game is technically released in other countries since it is the 25th over there. We will have it tomorrow. There will be no notification though.

Kraze answered that already, he said "there will be no notifications though"

So don't expect an email, just check back later. Won't make a difference if you can configure it now, or configure it in 4 hours from now.

Servers should start going up today so admins can configure them. I would expect later afternoon.

Awesome! The game becomes available to all of the US in a little over 12 hours! :)

Preordered servers will have the normal creation email sent out when they're ready.

The game should open up to clients on the east coast starting at midnight EDT, so about 9.5 hours from right now. Some Asian countries already have access to the game; EU and AU get access later.

I'm surprised by this.

Another company is rolling out servers now - they've promised servers within the next hour. Another has over 50% of their servers live. Another over 25% live.

Considering the game launchs at 3am eastern, why wait until midnight eastern?

You misunderstood me, woowoo. I was talking about when clients can start playing BF3. As I've said in so many places, our servers will all be up before this.

We're actually still waiting on a server update from DICE. Putting up servers now is not a good idea.

"Your release date will be: Tuesday, October 25, 2011, 01:00"

It seems I was misinformed. You guys will have to stay up late to actually play, then :).

If there's already a server update going out, I'd much rather wait an extra couple hours for NFO to have the latest files at release. All the providers that are racing to be the first will have to shut down sometime today probably, and then install the server updates that NFO will already have.
I prefer NFO's scheme.
Don't see how it will take more than a half hour or so to do the initial setup of our servers before being ready to play.
