Server Time
Just curious as to why the server always sets itself to 1 hour off the correct time.
Server is in Dallas, and time is set to -6 for the time zone, and it is set to auto sync.
Is it because Windows doesn't provide the option for day light savings?

Re: Server Time
Do you mean after a reboot, or is it always doing this in general?

Re: Server Time
No
I just tried to adjust it to the correct time, and if the sync is enabled, the time is wrong by 1 hr.
So I have to turn off the sync, and manually adjust the time to correct it.

Re: Server Time
It does sound like you may need to check the DST flag, then. Also, make sure you're running the latest Windows updates.

Re: Server Time
That is what I was saying. There is no DST setting that I can see.

Re: Server Time
The DST setting in Windows is under the time and date settings. Double-click the time in the system tray and go to the Time Zone selection page. You will see a checkbox there called "Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time".

Again, there is no DST setting on that area, or any other that I can see.

Re: Server Time
If you're using RDP, right click on the clock and go to Adjust Date/Time, then you see this:
Then you click on the box with the red outline and you get this:
If you are seeing something different, then..... that's weird.Re: Server Time
Yes, it should be right where I said. Windows help can also assist you in finding it.

These are the screens I am seeing and they are not like yours.

Re: Server Time
You're not seeing it because you set the time zone incorrectly (to Central America, which doesn't have DST). You need to set it to this option:
(GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
(GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)

Re: Server Time
