Hey All

I'm in the process of setting up a website/forums for our new group. It's going along except that I now have a problem I just can't seem to solve. The full members of the forums weren't able to send PM's and I was able to fix that so now they can. The problem is now I can't. I was able to check all the permissions against an existing forum and they look the same except on the new one I get a message that I don't have permission to send a message and on the other I can send one fine.

I've going cross-eyed trying to figure this one out. I know it's probably a simple solution but I'm just not seeing it. I'm the new site admin if that's any help. OH, and please help, anyone.

J

Which forum software are you using?

If it's phpBB, there are probably several places that it can be blocked, as there are multiple levels of permissions (board-wide, by group, by individual).

Yes it's phpBB. I've checked all those places against an existing forum and can't seem to find an area where I not the same. It's really frustrating as you might imagine.

It's a little hard to help without seeing the exact permissions. However I did a Google search and did find some links that may help.
