Hi I want to display a webpage, music or Image on my welcome motd screen when you join a server in CS:S.

Everytime i use an HTML code and place my link "YOUR LINK HERE" within the code ,I get a blank MOTD screen when i join a server..or sometime i try a different code i get the actual HTML code displayed in my motd.

Does anyone know the correct seperate HTML code for 1)Music 2)Displaying Image 3)Displaying a webpage.

Not sure if i need to configure the motd.txt or the motd_text

Thankyou

In CS:S, you should host your MOTD on separate hosting, and put just the straight URL in your motd.txt. For instance, you could construct a webpage at "motd.html" on your free webhosting here, and put this single line in your motd.txt:

Code:
http://yoursite.site.nfoservers.com/motd.html

Ive used all sorts of HTML codes...i always get a blank motd screen.

If its an Image or website that i want to show at the start when players join it still gives me a blank screen.

Does this happen even when just entering the address as Edge mentioned above, with all other code removed?

That is strange. CS:S is supposed to show whatever is at the address if that is all that is entered. Did the address you enter include http:// and did you make sure there were no spaces before or after the address?

Just a random thought, I know hl1 uses IE cache..

Try clearing your cookies and cache for Internet Explorer and then join your server and see if it comes up.

For that, we'll need you to send in a help request from the "Help!" section of your control panel.
