Server rentals :: NFOservers.com

I live in Seattle and I ping about the same in both type of servers. Lately Ive been pinging in the hi 80's where I would usually be in the 60's but never higher.

Maybe it's a temporary thing but I want to upgrade to larger capacity server. Specifically a 20 man and I was thinking of going to a Verio server due to cost.

Basically does anyone live in Seattle and own a Verio server and how do you ping with it. ?

well the site hasnt been updated as of yet, but we quit using vero, they have some issues, and we didnt want to deal with that anymore.

its now level3 or internap, until we find a 3rd alternative bandwidth with prices comparable to verio

Speaking of prices comparable, those of us that signed up on Verio will we keep the same rates or will they change(if necessary to support the new source of bandwith) at all?

Nearly everyone pings better to Level3 than the old Verio line (by an average of 10ms). The only exception I've found is Shaw customers. Shaw is pretty notorious with us for its low-quality bandwidth

When will Verio be not available. I've been debating about getting another server or up the capacity of my current one. I was looking to get a 10 man verio.

From what Ive heard. Verio is already not availible. They just havnt had time to update the website yet. So your two choices are Internap and Level 3. Both of which are excellent providers.

If you were to order Verio right now, you'd get level3. That's a darn good value
