When my clan first bought our server, the registry was absolutely perfect, I've never seen better registry. As time went on and I added more and more plugins, the registry started to decline, understandably. Recently we switched over from GunGame to regular CS:S.

Before the switch, I was running around maybe 15 plugins, not including stock plugins, HLstatsX, GunGame or SourceBans plugins.

After the switch I removed pretty much every additional plugin and now we use like 2 or 3 additional plugins, but the registry has not improved.

Anyone know why it hasn't gotten better or knows how to improve the registry? Would wiping the server and starting fresh fix it?

Wiping the server and starting over fresh is always an option. We also may be able to move you to a different machine on our end, if you'd like to give that a try (we underload all our machines, though), or you might consider a different location.

Gonna disable a few plugins and see if the FPS continues to dip.

Just disabled every plugin except stock plugins, HLstatsX and SourceBans and we are still getting FPS dips at the same frequency.

Since the dips are to exactly half, that could be a measurement problem in the game (it rounds on these), but it's something we'd still want to address. Does this also happen with all plugins disabled? Have we already moved you to a different machine as a test?

Dips to half also wouldn't be likely to cause registration problems (since the tickrate would continue to be 100). Does it dip any less than this? Are you seeing choke on your client?

It looks like there are bots in your server right now. Make sure to test with these off, because they'll skew the results (bots take a bunch of CPU power, which leads to longer ticks, which leads to FPS/tickrate drops).
