Since Pirates Vikings Knights 2.3 http://www.pvkii.com/ is going to be released over Steam can we rent a server here?

I tested this game, and in its current form, the dedicated server does not run, so I can't yet add it to the order page. Hopefully they will fix this with another update before the release.

Update: The original files were downloading into the wrong directory. Check to make sure the PVKII:DS files have downloaded into the Orange Box directory. If they haven't, you need to re-download via Steam.

Ok, that makes sense. I'll check it out.

That also means it probably needs the special (old) OB .dlls.

I was able to get it to run with the changes and I have updated the order page to reflect our support for this game.

They should open up their forums to allow non-members to read them. This would likely make a significant difference in the number of users and server operators willing to try the game.
