Ping accelerated servers now available at Level3 LA

Our Ping Accelerated option is now available at Level3 LA. This option has been available for Half-Life servers at our other two locations for some time now and has been well-received. It generally reduces pings for all players by around 10, and sometimes even more, and we highly recommend it.

It sounds great. I have a level3 server. I am thinking of adding the ping accelerator. But I have some questions:

1. Will we keep our same server IP?
2. If for any reason we dont want the ping accelerator anymore....will it be taken off?
3. How long does it take to "add" a ping accelerator to a server?

Yes.

You can take it off at any time.

3. How long does it take to "add" a ping accelerator to a server?

It involves a new paypal subscription and a server move to the accelerated machine. That can happen in as little as 10 minutes depending on when you make the request and how quickly you sign up, or as much as a day.

Currently we have no level3 accelerated servers for testing, but it would be a similar drop in ping between a Verio normal server and a Verio Accelerated server.
