Server rentals :: NFOservers.com

Hello, whenever I join the gmod server I own I crash. This happens as soon as I'm able to move (after everything loads), and Im not sure why. Nobody else is having this problem, just me. I can join any other server just fine. I tried a fresh intall of gmod, no dice. I also tried verifying game catch, defragging the cache, and a bunch of others. Any help?!

That is definitely odd, is your server running any type of custom content that you need to download before entering game? If so delete it out of your client side folders and re-download a fresh copy upon joining the server.

Didn't work.

You can attempt restarting Steam and running it as admin if you are on Vista/7.

Do you get any specific error when the game crashes..or is it just the generic "Garry's Mod has stopped working..etc"?

There is no option to do so.
And, there are no errors when crashing.

Ok let me explain the fix to this I was having this problem to.

Since Garry updated banning all the hackers he messed something up with ulx which I am guessing you are using as your admin mod.

all you have to do is in rcon when your server is on just type

ulx groupdeny xgui_managebans group name

I believe the new version of ULX has a fix to this but for now I just removed that from what groups had it.
The error was when you joined it loaded all the ban data at one time thus crashing your Garrysmod so it only happened to super admin's and up which is why every one else can play on your server.
