Crysis 2 seems to be having global problems with players being kicked today. I don't yet know a workaround for this.

For things like knowledgebase articles that need to evolve over time, yes. For regular forum posts, it's better that people not change what was said after the fact. This is a lesson learned for us over time and not easily forgotten.

Yeah, something is going on... Im suffering through the longest non-active period in the history of my server tonight...!

Have you tried joining the server and then executing cl_startgame via rcon? This usually does the trick and fills the server right up within 5 minutes or so.

I havnt had to do that before but I will certainly keep that in mind, thanks.

We are having similar issues of full client kick after one round, maybe even less as of right now we cant even play but a few seconds. I have a ticket in..

The patch made things worse.

This game is gonna die.

Oh, by the way, the kick command will sometimes clear the server. Happened twice to me.

Are you guys running any kind of custom configurations like map rotations, etc. anything that deviates from a purely stock install?

Ive had few problems until trying to implement custom rotations, both before, and after the patch. Also, put a bad map and game type in your rotation and see what happens... Its not pretty and is similar to some of the problems described. IM currently running a custom rotation with all game types for each map, hehe. I ran 5 rounds before going to be with my server full and no probs. was looking sweet and players liked the variety. Shortly after I logged it appears the server booted everybody and hasn populated since... My server has ran at capacity 5 minutes from creation till I started trying my own map rotations yesterday... So now its time to sift through these horrible logs and see if i can figure anything out... Ill post more if i find something.

riuthamus, there is a bug in the game right now that seems to cause it to kick everyone occasionally. Crytek says they are looking into it.

There also seems to be a bug related to changing the game type/variant, which causes the server to sometimes crash.

And many others, too, I'm sure =\.

New patch seems to be working well! No issues since earlier this afternoon! Fingers crossed!
