Well, I got this server from a previous owner and he used fast download on his maps but I want to add more maps and don't know how to make downloads shorter since these are larger than usual maps. So it would help if someone could give me a sort of step by step guide to uploading maps for fast downloads. I'll provide any information needed to help answer the question. Here is some first.

Your webspace is currently set up to be at phoogi.nuclearfallout.net. Your webspace username is hadoken. You can access the FTP for your webspace at ftp://hadoken@phoogi.nuclearfallout.net, using your current password.

I'm using cuteftp if that matters. I have no problem uploading them normal but I don't see any server folder where he uploaded the maps and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to connect to to find this folder. Also I changed the web from hadoken@ to phoogi@.

As long as you are connecting to the webspace FTP you should beable to find where he put the maps. It doesnt need to be /server, it could be anything.
Edit: http://phoogi.nuclearfallout.net/server/ looks like thats where hes keeping the maps.

here is some info you might need

Code:
TECHNICAL DETAILS
-----------------

* The maximum length of the sv_downloadurl is 127 characters

* A username and password can be specified for the HTTP server
by embedding
them in the sv_downloadurl like so:

http://usernameassword@www.somewhere.com/

( Note - recent IE patches make disable this functionality )

* If a connecting player has an existing file of the same name,
it will not
be overwritten. The download file will be skipped.

* Certain game-crtical and/or dangerous files cannot be
downloaded (ie: *.exe, *.vbs, etc)

This applys for CS 1.6 I couldn't find much on source you can read more at steams forum

Most of the time people cancel because they don't have the money to continue renting any server. Some cancel because they think they've found a better deal elsewhere, but they almost universally eventually come back to us. Others just lose interest with the game they were renting the server for.

Well, for me its not the cost of the server!
It's all about great servers that dont lag but most of all its about service and support.. Im impressed how you guy's_ NFO are on the ball..
Thats a big pluss in my book.
