Quirky map rotation. rcon login on server and started to rotate through the maps I had set;

mp_exchange,TDM_default,1
mp_hardhat,KC_default,1
mp_interchange,TDM_default,1
mp_lambeth,KC_default,1
mp_mogadishu,TDM_default,1
mp_plaza2,GG_default,1
mp_radar,TDM_default,1
mp_seatown,KC_default,1
mp_underground,TDM_default,1
mp_village,KC_default,1
mp_paris,TDM_default,1
mp_alpha,GG_default,1
mp_bootleg,TDM_default,1
mp_bravo,KC_default,1
mp_carbon,TDM_default,1
mp_dome,GG_default,1

map_rotate didn't follow the map list. Seemed random which map came next.
dspl shows me:
//Weight (1->1000)
// Selection is weighted random (higher weights increase selection chance)
as you can see I have all weighted the same. One would assume it would just choose the next map in list. Wrong assumption it appears. Any ideas?

With weighted random rotations and all of your maps having the same weight of 1, it should choose among them equally for every map change, regardless of the order you list the maps.

Edge, that is what i assumed also. Doesn't appear it works that way. Didn't follow map list nor was it alphabetical. Was totally random.

Unless I am missing something, the intention is for it to be totally random, is it not? I wouldn't expect a random rotation to follow a specific order.

Yes, that's correct, TimeX.

When I said that it would choose among them equally with identical weights and do it regardless of the order, I mean that it would choose randomly.
