Well, I am trying to install metamod on my css server so I can get sourcemod working but metamod keeps throwing up the error
Couldnt detect any gamepaths in gameinfo.txt

I tried the following solutions
Modifying gameinfo.txt an unbearable amount of times
Downloading the metamod.vdf file a bunch of times

And if you need more info theres a problem with that I CAN GIVE NO MORE it goes no where past that and its all in addons and cfg in orangebox cstrike

Anyone know anything?

Our regular servers here have a Metamod:Source installer that I would recommend using, as it takes care of things for you. Are you running this server on an unmanaged machine/VDS?

No, I am not running it on an unmanaged VPS I am running it on a VPS myself.

Im not really sure, I have access to my server full access
VNC and stuff
Not sure if thats managed or unmanaged so John if you could point me the way xD

That is an unmanaged server, so the installer tool is not an option. We load Metamod here via the gameinfo.txt file, but your error is a new one to me.

It sounds like Metamod is loading, but there is a problem with your copy of the gameinfo.txt file. What does the game paths section of your file look like?
