Everytime I try to connect to my server in steam, it constantly tells me that "I've entered the incorrect password". There is no password on my server that I know of and I've seen a message in my game console that says sv_password changed to ****PROTECTED****. I really dont understand this, can someone help me out?

I try to use RCON to change the password, but then it comes up with the same message... What do I do?

Did you order a private server and forget to add a password to it? That'd be the most common cause for this. If so, you'll want to visit the Easy setup tab and put one on the server.

You should always be able to change the server password through rcon. Make sure that you are using the correct rcon password.
