This is just a heads up that there was a lot more features added in server.properties in minecraft 1.1 which are not visible in easy setup of the control panel for minecraft servers. I am not sure if nfoservers allow us to edit the file directly via ftp or not either...This is just a heads up for staff and users.

Yes, you are able to update things directly via FTP, but you must be very careful to make sure that you don't remove the server-ip line in server.properties or your server will not start.

You are welcome to edit server.properties if you wish -- just be careful with it. The easiest way to edit it is through the drop-down on the "File manager" page.

Just as a quick update. John has added the 3 new server.properties settings to the Easy Setup tab, so this is no longer an issue.
