Right around the time of your post, there were some major, global problems with Blaze that led to tons of players being dropped. The system may have been having some difficulties keeping up with these.

If Obama knew that Blaze was a better scapegoat than Bush, he would do good to adopt that policy and blame it all on Blaze.

Except that a scapegoat is "singled out for unmerited negative treatment or blame" whereas Blaze absolutely deserves it =\.
