Any good news from R9?
None so far. I absolutely hate this idle limit crap they put in R9, not only it makes it harder to start server up, but if you have a phone call or have to talk to your wife, you disconnected.

Yea I gotta say, this blows. I couldnt get my server filled before R9 and now I cant even idle in my server. Makes seeding it impossible. Being frozen in place waiting for players is crap too. WTH were they thinking????

Thanksgiving coming up, should make for a busy weekend. If I cant get the server going with this, I will have to throw in the towel. No doubt, John has gotten a bit of a bloody nose with all the cancellations. But what are you to do? Pay for a server that sits empty?

my guys with game starting issues said after talking to support another patch is coming out in 24 hours....they have to patch the patch.....

this is starting to sound really bad..... EA still living up to their reputation

vars.roundStartPlayerCount 4

The round will start with 4 not 5. You have to restart the server.

Okay, now I finally crashed (at least I think?). It booted us all with the reason "Game session removed from this server." and then the server disappeared for a while and came back on the starting map. Is this the new message it gives us now when our servers crash?

same thing just happened to me. had a squad in vent and they all got the same msg. rebuilding is a pain

same happened last night to ours. so far no, no good news whatsoever with this patch.

any evidence/confirmation of this on the interwebs anywhere? I googled and have been active in multiple forums regarding this patch and haven't seen hide nor hair from dice.
