We've added a new option to our
VDS order page that is a tweaked version of our single-core model. It comes with the same amount of memory and disk space but is restricted to running versions of Linux, doesn't support additional memory, and doesn't support SSD space. These specifications allow us to bring it in at a lower price point.
We hope that many customers who need an entry-level VDS -- such as to run an intensive website that requires full control over the system -- will consider this new package. Existing customers are also welcome to change over to this new option through a standard change-order operation.
