Recently Paypal has been exhibiting a bug with some new subscriptions, making them impossible to find in the account history and therefore impossible to cancel. We have contacted Paypal about this issue and they are working on it. In the meantime, we have found that a subscription can still be canceled if the user clicks on a completed payment for the subscription and then follows the subscription link referenced there.
We have adjusted our system to temporarily stop issuing true free trial links so that we can take advantage of this workaround. Instead of issuing a true free trial, customers will be signing up for links that make immediate payments of $0.01.
