AT&T is having internal network problems between LA and SF that are forcing it to reroute through St. Louis, Missouri to get to LA. This is causing added latency for any Comcast customers north of LA on the West coast, as well as for many Adelphia customers, among others, when connecting to our LA servers.

AT&T usually gets this type of problem fixed within a day or two, so I would expect it to be fixed by tommorrow. In the meantime, some players will experience additional latencies to our LA facility. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this from our end.

Update: Apparently this problem is due to mudslides, and there is no word from AT&T on when it will be fixed. In the meantime, we are adjusting the routing in LA to try to minimize its effects.

Update: As of Thursday, AT&T appears to have fixed its problem.
