Hey Edge, I am trying to settle a debate about monthly bandwidth usage of counter strike servers. One guy is saying that he gets 1200MB of data transfered monthly. The other side says cs servers use about 30-40GB. On a server like ours (outlawnation 24players) what would you say is our average monthly bandwidth usage?

We don't measure the bandwidth in GB. Pretty much the only places that do are webhosts and cheap dedicated server providers . I would estimate that a 24-player would use maybe around a megabit per second when full and with plugins, though. If you managed to keep it that way, it'd add up to a few hundred gigs per month.
