As an admin, you can create a ServerQuery login using the Tools->ServerQuery Login option in your client. That username and password can then be used to administrate the server using the ServerQuery protocol, such as through external scripts. The login that you create will have the same privileges that you do in the server.

Creating a special login is not required in order to use standard server querying scripts, like our TS3 querying tool. This is because TS3 has a separate, anonymous, account that we authorize to return basic server information.
