What module do you use to write the news to the forum or vice versa?

I used phpbbfetchall on my clan's website to post news and it worked like a charm. I only used the most basic function of the script, but it can do tons of stuff.

I have one at my website (http://www.twabbey.com) that we wrote ourselves, all you really need to know is the location in the database where forum posts go to and just tell it to pull from a specific Forum and only pull the first post of each thread.
