Please add an option under file manager for web hosting to add an additional user to access a specific directory.

Basically I do not want that person to access the control panel but only the ftp directory that I assign them.

This would be very useful and it's a very important feature because I do not want to be giving out ftp access to the whole web server.

This has been requested before and it's likely not going to be possible at the current webhosting price points.

I am not sure why this can't be added, even shared cPanel hosting offer this option, I just don't think this would be too complicated to add with the web hosting. (Well I hope not)
It doesn't have to be unlimited, maybe have an option to add 5 users max for ftp access.

If pricing the issue, I'd be willing to pay extra for the next tier hosting from Lite.

Our websites are currently meant to be used by individuals and very small groups, and usage is consequently relatively light; adding extra user logins would lead higher levels of sharing and even invisible-to-us reselling of our plans at the sub-package level. This would result in much higher costs for us, leading in turn to higher prices, and would also require us to add significant webhosting resources. These aren't appealing to us in the near term, though we may work on new offerings later.

We appreciate the input, though. We decide what directions to take in the longer term based on customer demand.
