I have made my eventual move from 1 to 2 to 3 and now 4 core packages as I have needed it.

But my needs will eventually drop a bit. Primary needs are actually bandwidth (transfer) but its so cheap to just go ahead and get some more space and importantly memory with the higher package.

My question is concerning if there is any credit when moving down. If not then I guess the best thing to do is downgrade the package near the end of the billing cycle as long as my bandwidth usage is under the new limit? Or is there credit coming back at some point if i change it after the start of the next cycle?

I just could not tell since under changes you can see the prorated charges going up but nothing going down. Which if there is credit is still valid because the section is called "payment due" and nothing is due.

The system can't handle automated credits like this, so downgrading near the end of your billing cycle as you stated is recommended.
