The webhosting account and whatever you have on the unmanaged VDS are entirely separate. It is not going to be possible for you to have someone connect to the webhosting FTP and use it to access your VDS. What you will need to do instead is to install an FTP daemon on the VDS, such as FileZilla. We link to instructions for installing FileZilla in our KB article on this topic: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=4268

Is it Filezilla or Filezilla Server?
If it's server, just follow the steps above.
