Is there any possible way to increase the upload speeds per user thats connected to me? Each user gets about a 200kb/s download speed, but i can have up to around 20 users downloading at the same speed, so is there any way i can increase how fast each user downloads? even if it decreases the amount of users i can support im fine with it. Users get the same speed whether its HTTP or FTP. I have made sure all of the software is set to unlimited speeds (using filezilla for FTP, and using XAMPP for the web server). Any ideas on how to increase it?

I can't think of anything that would be limiting your speeds apart from application-specific settings, but I do remember talking with someone else here in the past about uploads through Apache going slowly (I'm having a devil of a time finding it). He eventually switched to IIS to resolve those.

Can you link me to a file that I can download as a test?

Yeah sure.

http://216.52.143.24/

Both of the links for FTP and HTTP are on there.

#edit FTP seems to be running decently now, around 350kbs HTTP around 160kbs (im on a 20MB down connection)

I just tested those with my home connection and was getting 700+ on HTTP and 800+ on FTP. Did you adjust something since your last post?

Sounds like your friend worked some magic :). I'm glad to hear that it's working well now.
