For fast download, if you have a webspace with us, just follow the manual version of the instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3605.

If you don't have webhosting from us, I'd recommend it as the easiest and most economical way to go (since its bandwidth is free to you).

Are you running srcdsfpsboost? If you don't run this, the server will run at only ~64fps, which is likely much lower than you are accustomed to.

You just need to have it running in the background alongside your server.

Also, one other thing -- I recommend adding "-tickrate 100" to the command line.

To the command line for your CS:S server. This one:

srcds.exe -game cstrike -ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -maxplayers 32 -debug -console -nocrashdialog

You can add something like +fps_max 600 to the command line above and it will set your server FPS to around 500.

What kind of lag are you experiencing? Knowing that will allow me to give you targeted advice. I talk about most of the different types in this post: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=3930.

Are they seeing any packet loss in the net_graph output? Is this happening to everyone, or just certain people?
